Special Containment Procedures: SCP-018's chamber consists of two areas, the first of which is the inner containment area, a small room with a door which houses the ball. Due to SCP-018's nature, a second much larger room encases the inner containment to permit enough room for the SCP to "bounce," and to be tested. A glass window permits for observation of the containment, alongside an intercom for direct communication with those inside the chamber without putting personnel at risk. Stairs provice access to the outer containment area.
Access to SCP-018's containment chamber is limited to personnel of Level-3 clearance or higher.
Description: SCP-018 appears to be a red "Super Ball" or "Bouncy Ball", small enough to fit in one's hand, however is capable of exerting a large amount of kinetic energy when thrown, resulting in SCP-018 being able to bounce at enormous heights and speeds.
When SCP-018 comes into contact with a solid surface, it will bounce off of it. However, should SCP-018 come into contact with any individual, they will immediately die in a violent collision with the anomaly as they are ripped apart due to the speed and force of the object.
SCP-018 will remain in motion for roughly 1-2 minutes, afterwhich returning to rest on the ground.
