Within Site - Phoenix, Class-D personnel may encounter two types of workbenches: a Non-Contraband Workbench and a Contraband Workbench.
Using these workbenches, Class-D personnel can craft a wide assortment of items, ranging from simple, harmless objects such as chairs and lamps to a makeshift firearm, pipe bombs, and other forms of contraband that may be used to escape the facility or cause disruption.
NON-CONTRABAND WORKBENCH
The Non-Contraband Workbench is found at the CDCZ Assembly Line.
It can be used to create a variety of items which have no purpose other than being sold for in-game currency.

CONTRABAND WORKBENCH
The Contraband Workbench is found outside the High-Risk Cell Block and near the Black Market Trader.
It can be used to create various items which are considered contraband, with a few exceptions.
MAKESHIFT ARMOR
Crafting Recipe:
Description:
A piece of makeshift armor which provides the user with [Insert Number]% ballistic resistance once equipped.
Cannot be un-equipped once equipped.
AMMO CARRIER

MAKESHIFT GUN

A weak but usable makeshift firearm.
PIPE BOMB
Crafting Recipe:
Description:
An improvised explosive device which shares a similar function as the M67 Grenade.
The Pipe Bomb inflicts less damage than the M67 Grenade in exchange for a higher injury multiplier.
KNIFE

A weapon capable of silently incapacitating individuals when used from behind.
CONTRABAND POUCH
Crafting Recipe:
Description:
Gives the user the unique ability to place contraband into the contraband pouch to bypass detection via metal detectors.
The contraband pouch does not bypass the "Frisk" mode of the Control Kit.
CROWBAR
Crafting Recipe:
Description:
A heavy metal tool capable of opening vent grates.
HACKING DEVICE
Crafting Recipe:
Description:
A small piece of makeshift technology capable of acting as a Level-3 keycard.
Produces a distinct, audible beeping noise when used.
