SCP-093
"The Red Sea Object"
"The Red Sea Object"
Special Containment Procedures: Due to SCP-093's size, it is contained within a small metal containment chamber, with access via a keycard locked door and a glass window for observation and no intercom system due to the small size of the area. Within the chamber lies a tall, slewn mirror that exists for SCP-093 usage in testing. The disk itself lies on a pedestal in the centre of the containment area.
Access to SCP-093's containment chamber is permitted for those ranking Level-2 clearance or higher.
Description: SCP-093 is a deep red disc, carved from stone with many symbols and depictions of unknown origin. When held by any individual, SCP-093 will change colour though it's unknown why or what effect this has.
When placed on any mirror by the holder, SCP-093 will transport the individual to an alternate dimension, described as desolate and desert-like. To the outside observer, a loud "zap" will be heard, alongside a bright flash of white light when 093 is used on a mirror.
